Dostinex 0.5mg 8tabs
Cabergoline
Cabergoline is a dopamine agonist designed to reduce prolactin. In medical circles it is commonly used to combat prolactinomas, a benign tumor of the pituitary gland that may cause an excess production of prolactin. It is also used by athletes who supplement with anabolic steroids that may increase prolactin levels such as Nandrolone and Trenbolone.
Cabergoline, most commonly sold under the brand name Dostinex, is not a new drug as it was first developed in 1981 by the Italian drug manufacture Farmitalia-Carlo Erba Spa. The drug was later acquired by Pharmacia and then found its resting place with Pfizer in 2002
Cabergoline Functions and Traits
As a dopamine agonist, Cabergoline directly correlates with the long acting D2 receptor thereby inhibiting the secretion of prolactin in the body and in turn lowering serum prolactin levels. As a dopamine agnonist, Cabergoline is used to treat Parkinson’s disease, hyperprolactinaemia (abnormally high levels of prolactin in the blood), Cushing’s disease and as mentioned prolactinomas.
Cabergoline’s direct function (specifics) is in that it inhibits prolactin secretion in the pituitary’s lactotroph cells. It really is a very simple drug and what’s simpler or perhaps interesting is that the simple medication was discovered almost accidently during experiments with ergot alkaloids
Effects of Cabergoline
There are several positive effects of Cabergoline for both medical and performance athlete purposes as well as those of a sexual nature. For the athlete, primarily the anabolic steroid user, certain steroids can increase prolactin levels in the body. Increased prolactin levels can lead to prolactin induced gynecomastia in individuals who are gynecomastia sensitive. However, more common is excess prolactin levels lowering the individual’s libido and even more commonly resulting in erectile dysfunction (ED). The ED issues that surround prolactin most commonly revolve around the anabolic steroid hormones Trenbolone and Nandrolone. Nandrolone, (Deca Durabolin) it is the prolactin related ED that has lead to the common phrase ‘Deca Dick’ and is the reason many shy away from Nandrolone based steroids. If the individual can limit or even reduce prolactin levels he can avoid the dreaded ‘Deca Dick’ and Cabergoline is often the perfect solution for this issue.
Some athletes also choose to use Cabergoline due to a perceived adrenaline rush caused by an increase in dopamine. How effective this is, such data is inconclusive but many athletes swear by it. The surge can also help with memory and the individual’s ability to push through training without tiring out as quickly. Some athletes also report that the use of Cabergoline helps them stick to their strict diet as the cravings for “Bad Foods” is reduced as they remain with a satisfying feeling due to the increased levels of dopamine in the body.
Sleep, specifically better sleep is also a positive effect of Cabergoline. Many ‘Caber’ users report a deeper and more restful sleep. And then we’re left with the final positive effect of Caber, increased sex drive. When we have sex, specifically referring to ejaculation, the individual’s prolactin levels go up thereby reducing his desire for sex. By supplementing with Cabergoline and reducing serum prolactin levels we regain our desire for sex much faster, and in some cases, may be able to perform repeatedly without or with little rest.
Side Effects of Cabergoline
The most common side effects of Cabergoline are an upset stomach, nausea and possible stomach cramps. Stomach issues are most commonly associated with taking too much Caber and can normally be avoided by proper dosing and taking with food. Other possible side effects of Cabergoline largely surround lowering prolactin too much as we do need some prolactin in our body. This is no different than when taking an Aromatase Inhibitor (AI) to reduce estrogen. Too little estrogen due to too much AI can lead to numerous symptoms. Reduced levels of prolactin at a severe rate can lead to sexual dysfunction, such as ED and/or the inability to orgasm. In women it can lead to the inability to produce breast milk. In both sexes it may result in depression and anxiety.
Other possible side effects of Cabergoline, while not common are possible and may include the following:
Possible Serious Effects (discontinue use)
- Shortness of Breath
- Edema of the Ankles and Feet
- Inability to Urinate
- Lightheaded or Passing Out
- Heavy Coughing
- Rapid Weight Loss
Less Severe but Possible Side Effects
- Headache
- Hot Flashes
- Dry Mouth
- Drowsy
- Nausea
- Indigestion and/or Vomiting
Cabergoline Administration
Cabergoline is most commonly found in oral tablet form but may also be found in oral liquid form from research chemical companies. Most individuals will find 0.25mg taken twice per week to be all the Caber they need with 1mg twice per week being the maximum dose. However, 1mg twice per week, while it may not sound like much is truly a massive dose and far more than most will need. A high dose of Caber will almost always lead to complications. If 0.25mg twice per week does not suffice, in most cases there are other areas in your life that need to be examined. As far as when to take it, Cabergoline is best taken with food during the last meal of the day.
Cabergoline Reviews
Cabergoline is an excellent product for the anabolic steroid user as it can allow him to use various steroids that he might otherwise avoid due to ED issues. In medical circles it is also extremely effective in treating the early stages of Parkinson’s as well as the best option for treating prolactinomas or almost any condition that results in excess levels of prolactin in the blood. Many men will also find that this medication can be used at a low dose long term to improve sexual function; in fact, for many men this may be the most appealing feature of the drug.
